Simple LN Looks to Release Demo Album

Some 5 years after producing their first single POSB, Simple LN strongly considers releasing an album full of demos. “I’ve got what seems to be an infinite amount of demos from my DR-5 and early Reason days.” Front man J Dot tells Thumb Print. “They would all need an extreme overhaul the likes of which I’m not sure I’m ready to fathom.”

The 30+ tracks range from extremely simple loops of experimental electronic to head bobbing hip hop grooves. Minimalistic would be a good way to describe Simple LN. Untalented may be another. J Dot adds, “I came up with the name Simple LN back in one of my history classes in high school. Our music kind of harnesses that sense of immature mentality.”

Thumb Print is negotiating with Simple LN to allow the album to be downloaded in its entirety for free. There is also talk of a limited run of home burned CD’s that would be hand numbered and initialed by J Dot. “I don’t think anyone in their right mind would pay more than $5 for these.”
